The previous apparel fundraisers were fully designed by myself and my team. After watching the show, we really just wanted some classic soccer merchandise. After Warner Bros. created their own show store, we pivoted away from direct AFC Richmond gear, and focused adjacently on specific characters.
100% of proceeds went to charity. This means we paid for the manufacturing, fulfillment, and design. The rest goes directly to charity. I took zero home. In fact, considering how many scarves I’ve purchased… I’m definitely in the red on the venture. We’ve already raised over $5,000 for British sports foundations focused on engaging the local youth. I don’t even get a tax break as they’re international charities!
