2011-09-18 Sunday Night Football

I enjoy cleaning! This is essentially the first time I have an apartment without adult supervision (for the most part). And have to clean and furnish the place myself. Which is very new. But I like cleaning? There’s something about getting all the dirty dishes and floors clean and it’s nice. Though I have a ridiculous complex that I have when they start getting dirty again. 

Anywho. Yesterday we went to Novgorod. Which is a three hour drive away from Saint Petersburg. It is one of the oldest ancient Russian cities. Only the old city center was impressive. There were some gorgeous churches, buildings and monuments. As well as a pleasant beach. Which also had fake ducks? There were wooden ducks somehow anchored to the ground and just bobbed around in the water to make it look nicer? Interesting…

The old Kremlin and its fortress walls were very impressive and provincial. Nothing compared to Carcassonne in France. 

Also word on the street is I might be playing American Football today.
