Finally recalling that the camera I possess would no longer be in my possession in the upcoming Spring semester I decided that it was time to finally get another set of photos of Saint Petersburg before I would not be able to. I had yet to get an album of night photos, due to my inability to easily drag my brother’s large Nikon around with me. However I made it a point tonight to spend the evening at least getting a few pictures. My original three hour planned hike was interrupted by the Russian cold and I relinquished my objective settling with a much smaller area than I had decided on earlier. Commencing the evening with some drinks at a hidden dive bar near Nevskiy Prospect, I prepared for the cold, finally utilizing all the winter clothing I had brought along. I figured it was time to do so, and I particularly enjoyed the scarf my mother so lovingly knitted for me this summer. It was plenty lengthy to wrap around my neck a few times and was heavily warm. I am glad to announce that I believe I have plenty of splendid photographs to further prove the theory that Saint Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and definitely and easily Russia. I also had the luck to stumble upon a random fireworks display accompanied by a blaringly loud Russian anthem.
