2012-02-01 Return of the Knight

Zachary Knight made a triumphant return to Saint Petersburg after successfully, after a month long trip of delays and detours, completing the Trans Siberian Railroad. Well done to him! Finally arrived to be my third roommate here in Saint Petersburg. His stories are vast and too many to be told in a single night.

My lack of a camera makes it difficult to show you all the very icy conditions, nor would a picture do it justice. It is cold. The coldest place I have ever been. Easily. I find it cold… not an easy feat. My nose has taken the biggest beating, yet I have refused to let it hold us back, and have continued to grab the new students and take them on more excursions across the city.

Yesterday I brought them to three epic Russian cathedrals and two classic bridges, the bridges ironically now not necessary since people can walk across the frozen canals.

Classes have started and unfortunately due to a scheduling difficulty… my classes may not run. The electives, I need to pray and beg to get these classes running because I am in desperate need of the credits… Wish me luck to get the Kiev and Rus history class and the Saint Petersburg History class running.
