2012-03-22 - An Update to Prove I am Alive

First chance I have gotten at internet. So here come the bullet points.

• Left Kyiv on a 17 hour train ride to Kishinev or Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.
• Arrived and realized it was a huge mistake, with a dissolving government, and very disturbingly strange experience.
• Left and moved on to Romania less than 36 hours after arriving in Moldova.
• Visited Iasi (5 hours from Chisinau), Deva (14 hours from Iasi) and Hunedoara (1 hour from Deva). Now I am speaking from Sighisoara or Schassburg (4 hours from Hunedoara). 
• Now you must be thinking… am I moving too quickly? The answer is no. As long as you are willing to only sleep in trains/train stations or not sleeping.
• I have seen epic castles, gorgeous views, ate delicious food, enjoying a wonderful exchange rate… therefore eating more food, and having a brilliantly wonderful time.
• Don’t worry about me, though clearly I am garnering a lot of attention not only as being a tourist a few weeks too early, everything is empty and practically private, but also being likely one of a dozen Asian people in the country. That is being generous as well. I have not seen a single one so far… so I am just assuming the others are in hiding.
• Off to Brasov, Bran, Raznov and Bucharest before heading home. That is the preliminary plan, but as you can tell it can change based off of whim. Good night and good luck.
