2012-03-23 Rooster Alarm
I have actually woken up to roosters about half the mornings on this adventure. Most the places I am staying at ar rural enough to have farms and the subsequent roosters are quite loud.
Romanians apparently love to put french fries in their sandwiches. I have yet to find one without the french fries in the sandwich, perfect! The price is incomparable. For a sandwich the size somewhere in between a 6 inch sub to a footlong, the price is $2.
The Fagaras mountains have been unbelievable to travel through. Second only to the Pyrenees. I really enjoy mountains, perhaps it is due to the fact of the lack of mountains in the tri-state area. They are beautiful.
I have been trespassing through many little Romanian towns in order to get the most brilliant views and peaceful settings to relax at. To read my books, to write my letters, to sing my songs, to sleep, to think… luckily I have not gotten into any trouble, and now my castle travels are over. In the morning I will be in Bucharest. My final destination. I don’t have much on the agenda for this city. I do want to see their parliament building, which is the second largest building in the world. Second only to the Pentagon.
