2011-09-09 - Thank God It's Friday

Our first full scheduled class week is over and it’s more class time than I’ve ever had in college. Three hours of Intermediate Russian a day and hour and a half seminars for our electives. And I’m tired out. Over the week I also sprained my ankle a bit after an angry frustrated Russian soccer player took out some steam on my leg. It’s getting better but I’m still working on it. 

I also bought Zenit St. Petersburg tickets against a weak (financially broke) Russian league team named Tom Tomsk. Though I’m still looking for FC Porto tickets. I would really like to go to a Champions League game. 

I’m also currently looking for some extracurricular activities such as teaching English, joining a sports team or finding a ballroom dance club.  Oh and my two electives are Contemporary Russian Politics, and Classic Russian Literature.
