FIFA Club World Cup 2025: MetLife Tickets Released

All of the tickets for the Club World Cup have been released. Tickets at MetLife are on sale to the general public are either in the 100 level corners or around the 300 level. 100 level along the sidelines will likely be reserved for Hospitality tickets and 100 level behind the goals will be reserved for club fan sections. They are using Ticketmaster Dynamic Pricing, but I have continually checked prices and haven’t seen them fluctuate, so demand is likely stagnant (for the group stage games).

Here are the current prices for tickets (with fees):

  • Group Stage (weekdays)

    • 100 level (corners) - $144.95

    • 300 level (behind the goal) - $78.05

  • Group Stage (weekends)

    • 100 level (corners) - $178.40

    • 300 level (behind the goal) - $100.35

  • Quarterfinals

    • 100 level (corners) - $724.75

    • 300 level (behind the goal) - $278.75

  • Semifinals

    • 100 level (corners) - $1,215.35

    • 300 level (behind the goal) - $345.65

  • Finals

    • 100 level (corners) - $2,787.50

    • 300 level (behind the goal) - $613.25

Unfortunately, I think this means that conditional tickets and other lottery options have passed. Since they were done through each club’s individual fan membership systems I missed most of the releases, and I’m disappointed I didn’t get to try for conditional tickets for the later rounds. I do have tickets to Borussia Dortmund v. Fluminense FC for $116. This is a higher profile Group Stage match, but still more than I would have liked to pay.

I have a hard time believing they will be able to sell out these stadiums at these prices. For the first Club World Cup, they should have focused on a way to really bring a great atmosphere to the tournament, and fund it via broadcasting. Instead, they’ve priced it pretty unaffordably for people, and it’ll be free to broadcast… sort of backwards in my opinion.

I’ve compared the tickets to one another here. Now, I’ve tried to standardize for the location of the ticket. But the real question quickly becomes, how much is the Club World Cup 2025 worth in comparison to the World Cup 2022? The Club World Cup obviously isn’t as presitigious, but the World Cup also was in lower demand due to its location and host issues. If you value them the same… then the Club World Cup final is kind of a deal right now.
